Addressed to

The YOUTH programmed primarily addresses young people aged between 15 and 25 who are legally resident in one of the Member States of the European Union or other Programmed countries (see section B.2).

This Guide aims to inform young people and other actors in the field of youth and non-formal education about the opportunities of the YOUTH programmed and to help them gain access to its challenges.

The following groups can participate in the Programmed:

bulletgroups of young people who want to organize a youth exchange or
launch an initiative in their local community
bulletyoung people who would like to get involved in European
Voluntary Service
bulletex-volunteers who are looking to build upon their experience


bulletyouth organizations
bulletyouth leaders
bulletyouth workers
bulletproject managers or organizers in the field of youth and non-formal education
bulletother non-profit-making organizations, associations or structures.
