Note the difference between project dates and activity dates
Project dates include everything from preparation to evaluation. Activity dates
are when the actual activity takes place (e.g. the day the volunteer arrives in
the host country, the first day of a youth exchange program, etc.).
 |
Both project and activity should start within the dates mentioned above. For
example, if applying at national level for the 1 February deadline, preparation
work for the project cannot start before 1 May and the activity (youth exchange,
voluntary service, etc.) must start before 30 September. |
Please note that project costs (preparation, communication, etc.) incurred
before the project starting date, and in any event before official notification
of the selection results, cannot be covered by the financial contribution from
the YOUTH program.
