Within the framework of the YOUTH program, priority is given to E. V. S
projects which:

 | target young people with less opportunities who otherwise would not have
easy access to the Program, |
| introduce voluntary service activities as a new element to existing
partnerships and/or create new partnerships between
organizations/associations/structures active in the social, cultural, youth or
environmental fields, |
| involve organizations which have not yet participated in E. V. S, |
| involve a new area of activity, or have innovative features, |
| support the development of local communities. |

In addition to the above priorities, individual countries may add national
priorities, e.g. geographical balance within the country and area of activity.
